Mark 60 Series – Reducing Pressure Regulator
The Mark 60 Sliding Gate Pressure Regulator regulates the downstream pressure to a predetermined set point. The spring holds the sliding gate seats in an open position to allow the process media to pass though the seats.
The downstream pressure is sensed beneath the diaphragm. As the pressure exceeds the set point, pressure is exerted on the diaphragm compressing the spring, which raises the stem to modulate the disc (the moveable component on the sliding gate seat set) toward the closed position.
As the seats close, downstream pressure will be reduced to the required set point. A decrease in pressure relaxes the spring and diaphragm to move the seats toward the open position.
Mark 50 Series – Back Pressure Regulator
The Mark 50 Sliding Gate Back Pressure Regulator is used to regulate upstream pressure at a predetermined setpoint. The spring in the Mark 50 holds the sliding gate seats in their normally closed position.
Upstream pressure is sensed beneath the diaphragm. As the upstream pressure exceeds the setpoint, pressure is exerted on the diaphragm compressing the spring, which raises the stem to modulate the disc (the moveable component of the sliding gate seat set) toward the open position. As the seats open, upstream pressure is regulated to the required setpoint. A decrease in pressure relaxes the spring and diaphragm, moving the seats toward the closed position.
Mark 608 Series – Low Pressure/Tank Blanketing
The 1-1/2″ and 2″ size Mark 608 valves are suitable for large tank blanketing applications and other low-pressure gas regulation. In a tank blanketing application, the Mark 608 is used to control the flow of the blanketing gas into the tank to maintain the proper positive pressure. Once the blanket has been established, a small flow of nitrogen is continually admitted to the tank to keep the blanket fresh. The MK608 comes standard with an extra large diaphragm to give set-point control as low as 2.0″ w.c. (4,98 mbar). The “S” pattern body design allows for high-flow capacity and also gives the option of having bubble tight shutoff.
Mark 68G Series – Globe Style Regulator
The Mark 68G is a self-operated, globe style pressure reducing valve. It offers high capacity, accurate regulation, and easy servicing, making it an ideal choice for industrial pressure reducing applications. The bottom-entry design makes the Mark 68G simple to clean or repair. The diaphragm can be easily accessed from the top allowing some repairs to be conducted without removing the valve
Mark 68HP Common uses

Mark 68HP Series – High Pressure
The Mark 68HP is designed primarily for high pressure steam service commonly found in power plants, refineries, pulp and paper mills, and other high pressure process applications. Since high pressure superheated steam is routinely used for power generation (turbines), a pressure regulator capable of withstanding these pressures is needed for the distribution of lower pressure steam for individual process requirements.
Mark 80 Series – Self-Operated Temperature Regulator
The Mark 80 Series is completely self-operated and requires no external power source or additional instrumentation to operate the valve.
Stainless steel seal-welded actuator (SWA) combined with the sliding gate seat design provides the finest temperature control available in self-operated valves.
